Power Flushing

Power flushing services from MGAS will greatly improve the efficiency of your central heating and prolong the life of your boiler. If your boiler makes a loud “banging” sound, your radiators have cold spots and/or the water in your home takes a long time to heat.

One of our expert engineers will connect a high flow pump into the central heating system (usually in the airing cupboard where the central heating pump is typically located).

The header cistern is isolated before the system is “flushed through”. We add specific cleaning chemicals to break-up the sludge and debris build-up before working on each radiator to cleanse the system. We then test for total dissolved solids and check PH levels, adding an inhibitor upon completion.
